Job Summary:

The Clinical Laboratory Service Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of laboratory services to patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals. This position requires an individual who is proficient in providing exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, scheduling appointments, processing orders, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Order Processing: Coordinate with patients and healthcare professionals to schedule laboratory tests and procedures, and process orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous responses to patient inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a positive attitude in high-pressure situations.
  • Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results and medical histories.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with laboratory technicians, medical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of the laboratory.
  • Service Promotion: Promote laboratory services and products to patients and healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • A medical educational background is highly desirable.
  • A bachelor's degree in sciences, agriculture, or pharmacology is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A strong customer service orientation is critical for building trust and satisfaction among patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Multitasking and prioritization skills are necessary for managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using computers and medical software is required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • This role is primarily based in a laboratory or office setting.
  • Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required.
  • Work-from-home options may be available.

We offer a $5300 gross package, reflecting our commitment to fair compensation and rewarding performance.
