Position Summary:

The Senior Operations Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and land shipments. The role involves ensuring smooth cargo movement, timely documentation, effective coordination with clients, shipping lines, and overseas agents, while maintaining the highest levels of service quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and supervise daily freight forwarding operations (import/export – air, sea & land).
  • Coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to ensure on-time shipment execution.
  • Prepare, review, and verify all shipping documents (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.).
  • Follow up with customs brokers and transporters for clearance and delivery status.
  • Maintain close communication with clients to provide shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and documentation standards.
  • Support billing and invoicing processes in coordination with the finance department.
  • Mentor and guide junior operations staff when required.
  • Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5–7 years of experience
    in freight forwarding operations (air, sea, or both).
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
  • Experience using freight forwarding systems or ERP software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients and global partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
