Bids and Proposal Specialist

**JOB PURPOSE**
Responsible for preparation of all Technical and commercial bids, CRM data entry, assist in annual budget preparation and work with Proposal Manager in all pre-bid commercial and technical aspects of the project
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Responsibilities / Bids and Proposals
- Review and identify client’s requirements
- Responsible for internal processing of RFQ’s.
- Update the proposal control register insuring timely submission.
- Maintain and Control Opportunities and Quotes in the CRM
- Work closely with Technical /Design /Planning /Delivery /Engineering /Legal and Contracts/Site service / Projects/Finance to and collate their necessary inputs for Bid Preparation.
- Prepare the pricing of the bids as per the set bidding strategy by the Proposal Manager.
- Insure that the products offered are value engineered by the technical team.
- Work with the client for any technical / commercial clarifications prior to bid submission
- Prepare the commercial and technical Bid package in line with the client requirements for Proposal Manager / Director’s approval.
- Prepare by Weekly report on Bids submitted and maintain the status of the projects in liaison with the Sales team.
- Work with the Sales team / Proposal Manager / Director to prepare the annual sales budget.
- Compile the BOQs and the technical summary for the budgeted projects for ERP processing.
- Work with legal / Contracts division to get their comments on the purchase contract terms and conditions and submit for Proposal Manager’s review.
- Review the system summary along with the technical engineer to make sure that the client requirements are met and propose any changes which can imply a commercial advantage.
- Tabulate the technical bid evaluation sheet for Proposal Manager’s review and approval and sign off.
- Prepare Prequalification / technical submittals and insure that the documentation is in line with the project requirements.
- Insure that the received RFQ’s are properly logged in the CRM.
- Insure that all the sales Quotations and orders are processed through CRM.
- Review the purchase orders and insure that the prices and other commitments are in line with the final agreement for Proposal Manager’s review.
- Arrange for the post order approval from Finance, Legal and technical
- Prepare the Sales Order and process through Pipeline.
- Responsible for providing inline prices for additional requirements during the project execution
- Work with the project team during the order execution to ensure that all the techno commercial issues are resolved timely ensuring customer satisfaction.
