**CHILD SAFEGUARDING**:

This EAMR project aims that children and youth in vulnerable situations have their rights respected and possess sound self-reliance capacities that allow them to improve their life perspectives. It will also target national and community organizations to enable them to provide effective protection and self-reliance services for children and youth. The project is targeting children and youth up to 24 years from the refugees, migrants and host communities at Ain Shams and surrounding areas.

**ROLE PURPOSE**:
The Livelihoods/Youth Coordinator will be supporting the livelihood/Youth and Adolescent Officer in the implementation of the livelihoods and Youth&Adolescent and life skills activities for unaccompanied children and youth refugees, Migrant and host communities living in Ain Shams district and surrounding areas. The post holder will provide technical support and leadership to the life skill & youth community mentors including assessment, career guidance, and training through remote and office modalities. The position holder will also be responsible for regular monitoring of implementation. S/he will play a key role in leading the life skill & Livelihoods mentors to achieve the project targets with the agreed quality including the full process of selection of beneficiaries, preparing and delivering of the essential skills training, coaching, technical training needed, and also support the wage employment component.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project Implementation
- Ensure smooth operation of the trainings, activities, initiatives and
- Plan along with the Officer and with active participation of
- facilitators the life-skills ,Business skills and leadership trainings..etc.)...which will be given to youth &Adolescent.
- Support in providing step-by-step capacity building of youth to identify priorities, analyze options, develop plans and budgets for their actions, link with other networks to support their youth initiatives and implement their plans.
- Assess and build the capacity of community-based organizations to be able to deliver initiatives management and other trainings and dialogue.
- Lead on distribution of seed funding and follow up with assigned mentors to support the youth with their small business and initiatives.
- Responsible for the capacity building of the community livelihoods coaches.
- Develop the plan along with the officer and ensure implementation of the youth and
- adolescent component with an integrated methodology with protection and livelihood activities as needed.
- Coaching a number of participants through all of the component activities.
- Lead on the seed fund process and the apprenticeship operations and opportunities
- Ensure that activities are implemented in accordance to the Plan of Action (POA) in a timely manner and in line to project budget.
- Ensure that the activities are implemented respecting the child safeguarding polices of SC.

**Reporting and documentation**
- Compilemonthlyreportsreflectingtheprogressintheprojectimplementation,assisttheteam to highlightsuccesscasesanddocumentchallengesencounteredduringtheimplementationof activities.
- Work with the project participants and team members to monitor, document and convey information and success stories.
- Contribute in the development/updating of the project data base, monitoring system, and carry out activities according to the agreed upon indicators on a regular basis.
