**TITLE**: Livelihoods Coach**TEAM/PROGRAMME**: Refugees and Migrants
Program -EAMR PROJECT
**LOCATION**:Nozha Hub/Ain Shams area -Cairo**GRADE**: 6**Duration **:5 months with possible extension based on Project extension.**Child SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3: The post holder will have contact with children and/or young people _either _frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police
checking/vetting process staff.
**ROLE PURPOSE**:
This position will be responsible for supporting SCI’s Adolescents, youth development and livelihoods activities for refugees and host community members. The position is responsible for the mentorship of the livelihood beneficiaries. The position maintains follow-up process with the livelihood beneficiary to ensure their understanding of the training material and their ability to develop their skills either to start a micro-business or
to maintain a job.

**Responsibilities
- Provide career guidance sessions to beneficiaries from different age groups (18 - 24 yrs)
- Participate in training delivery for the life skills, essential work skills, and business skills.
- Conduct business groups and individual mentoring sessions to the livelihoods participants during the project implementation.
- Follow up with the employed beneficiaries and provide them with career counselling advice.
- Keep an updated database of the participants’ information, and their received services.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in development related fields _/ _Related academic qualification.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in development.
**Essential**:
- Good Communication skills.
- At least 1 year experience in mentoring and coaching activities
- Experience in working with refugees and migrants’ communities.
- Good Community networks.
- reading and writing English is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly vulnerable groups.
- Awareness about the security context and political situation in Egypt for refugees.
- Able to work effectively within a team and/or individually.
- Shares Save the Children’s vision and values.
**Desirable**:
- Previous working experience with NGOs and in refugees-related contexts.
