This project aims that children and youth in vulnerable situations have their rights respected and possess sound

Self-reliance capacities that allow them to improve their life perspectives. It will also target national and community

organizations to enable them to provide effective protection and self-reliance services for children and youth

**ROLE PURPOSE**:To deliver training and capacity building activities for children and youth refugees, on prevention, resilience and protection interventions and awareness sessions to the children and their families at risk. S/he will work closely with target refugees and migrants at risk children and youth to ensure their life skills, personal resilience and psychosocial support for them.**SCOPE OF ROLE**:

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project Implementation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments to select at risk children, youth and parent for entry point activities
- Facilitate and co-facilitate a rolling program of life skills training programs.
- Build capacity small group of interested youth who wish to participate in dialog in local and national policy

levels.
- Support at risk children and youth to engage in research initiatives led by national and regional actors.
- Support case management and livelihood activities as needed.
- Develop monthly reports reflecting the progress in the project implementation, highlight success cases and

document challenges encountered during the implementation of activities.
- Participation of the working group in planning and implementing recreational and psychosocial support activities and setting up the monthly plan for children and parents in the community schools and implementing them.
- Ensure that activities are implemented in accordance to the Plan of Action (POA) in timely manner and in line to project budget;
- Ensure that the activities are implemented in a full respect to the child safeguarding polices of SC.
- Contribute in the development of project data base, monitoring system, and carry out activities according to the agreed upon indicators on a regular basis.
- Facilitate, when necessary, orientation sessions, workshops, follow up visits and other activities for the

project.
- Cooperate with the team members aiming the best interest of the child and his/her family;
Reporting and documentation:

- Draft concise, useful and analytical reports, reporting to the line manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS **AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in a Social Sciences, humanities, psychology, Or any relevant degree
- Minimum of 1-3 years of successful experience on the field work preferably in raising awareness and positive discipline and strong experience of dealing with children and youth.
- Proven Expertise in designing and facilitating Life skills programs for children between 8 and 18 years old.
- Proven knowledge and skills in activity planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Proven expertise in child protection and Child Resilience
- Evidence of analytical understanding and a commitment to improving child ri
