As our German Second Language Teacher, you'll be instrumental in guiding students through their journey of acquiring German, fostering both linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.

What You'll Do:

- Develop and deliver engaging and effective German second language lessons for students across various age groups and proficiency levels (e.g., beginner to advanced).
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies and resources, including communicative approaches, interactive activities, multimedia, and real-world materials, to make learning dynamic and relevant.
- Create a supportive, immersive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation, confidence, and fluency development.
- Assess student progress regularly through various methods (e.g., oral assessments, written assignments, projects) and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of individual students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the overall language program.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and classroom activities.

What You'll Bring:

- **Native or near-native fluency in German** (C1/C2 level preferred) and excellent command of English.
- **Proven experience teaching German as a second or foreign language** to students of different ages (e.g., school-aged children, teenagers, adults).
- A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, M.Ed.) or a degree in German Language/Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong pedagogical skills with a deep understanding of second language acquisition theories and methodologies.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a patient, adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for the German language and culture.
- Familiarity with international language proficiency frameworks (e.g., CEFR) is a plus.
