What You'll Do:

- **Lead a primary homeroom class** (up to Grade 5), taking responsibility for the overall well-being, academic progress, and social development of each student.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
- Utilize diverse and effective pedagogical strategies to cater to varied learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Assess student understanding and progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns, fostering a strong home-school partnership.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.

What You'll Bring:

- **Native or near-native fluency in German (C2 level essential)** and excellent command of English.
- **A Bachelor's degree in Primary Education, Elementary Education, or a related field with a strong focus on German as the language of instruction.** A relevant teaching qualification/license (e.g., Lehramt, PGCE, B.Ed. or equivalent) is required.
- **Proven experience as a Primary Homeroom Teacher** (up to Grade 5), preferably in an international or German-language school setting.
- Deep understanding of primary-level curriculum development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Exceptional classroom management skills with a patient, firm, and nurturing approach.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching young children and fostering their holistic development.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
