We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. The Key Account Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining and expanding relationships with our key clients, ensuring that their needs are met with efficiency and excellence. This position demands a strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex client environments, understand their unique requirements, and deliver tailored solutions that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts. You will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with our business objectives, as well as collaborating cross-functionally to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. Your ability to communicate effectively, build trust, and influence stakeholders will be essential in fostering long-term partnerships that contribute to our overall success. As a Key Account Manager, you will not only be the primary point of contact for our clients but also a strategic advisor who understands their industry challenges, ultimately reinforcing our position as a leader in the logistics and supply chain sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand service offerings and increase revenue.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze client data to gain insights into their needs, preferences, and potential challenges they face in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and alignment with client expectations.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that outline objectives, key performance indicators, and success metrics.
- Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or business development within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple key accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in client presentations and negotiations.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
