Role Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our client base, and identify new business opportunities across local and international markets. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the engineering and construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Egypt, Libya, Africa, and the GCC.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, contractors, and government entities.
  • Prepare and present company profiles, capability statements, and technical proposals.
  • Lead negotiations and follow up on tenders, RFPs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support business growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, supervision, and finance teams to align on bids and proposals.
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and meetings to represent the company.
  • Support the preparation of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (Engineering background preferred).
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development within engineering, construction, or consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of project cycles, tendering, and contracting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to Libya, GCC, and African markets as required.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an asset.
