**Entity and activity description**
Air Liquide has been operating in Egypt since 2002, serving a large portfolio of customers and operating on various markets: metals, glass, chemicals and petrochemicals, food and beverage, environment, automotive and metal fabrication, laboratories and research, oil and gas, etc.
**Missions and Responsibilities**
The Business Development Manager will develop Air Liquide business by opportunity management in the framework of a Marketing & Sales Plan and to protect our customer base against technological and competitor threats. Market Developers are assigned one or several specific market segments and a geographical territory and works in a close coordination with Sales Representatives of the fields.
We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive person whose main contributions to our success include:
- Ensuring Market visibility and manages Development planning
- Leading prospection initiatives to detect new opportunities
- Promoting selected Air Liquuide' solutions to potential and existing customers (prospects)
- Conducting with Sales Rep the opportunity development
- Defending our customer base against competition (gas and non-gas)
- Ensuring miscellaneous tasks to support sales force
**Competencies and Profile** Education**: Bachelor of Engineering preferably with commercial or/and sales background.
**Experience**: 5 years minimum including business development & technical development, preferably within the industrial sector.
**Related skills**:
- Fluency in English
- Project Management skills
- Capability in economical understanding of industry (ability to build Business case)
- Solid communication and presentation skills
