Job Description
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
⢠Supervise Accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, general ledger, and taxes.
⢠Help with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
⢠Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
⢠Prepare, review, and analyze trail balance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
⢠Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
⢠Monitor and analyses accounting data and trail balance.
⢠Set up and monitor accounting KPIs.
⢠Encourage other employees to adhere to standard.
⢠Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
⢠Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
⢠Collaborate with project managers and department heads to develop and monitor projects progress.
⢠knowledge of accounting standards and procedures, especially those related to the construction and real estate industry.
⢠Good understanding of construction and real estate accounting treatments.
Job Requirements⢠Bachelor's degree in accounting from a reputable university.⢠CMA, MBA is advantage.⢠Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.⢠Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.⢠Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques.⢠Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.⢠7-10 years in Construction and Real Estate is a MUST.⢠Cairo residence is a MUST, Prefer New Cairo residence or surrounding areas.This is a full-time position and reports directly to finance manager.Working days: Saturday: Thursday
