We are looking for a Global Business Development Manager - Refrigeration.

The Global Business Development Manager - Refrigeration will be responsible to develop the global strategy for Industrial Refrigeration and execute that strategy through the matrix organization.

You are known as an empowering leader, recognized for your excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, highly effective in large matrix organizations, capable of being both visionary and hands on when needed.

Location is flexible but preference for a major Danfoss Drives location in Europe.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- _Develop strategic plan for global growth in Refrigeration and lay the foundations for regions to execute locally_
- _Leverage our relationship with Climate Solutions and also their access to Industrial Refrigeration and develop plans for further partnerships_
- _Create pull-through demand at major stakeholders (End Users & Consultants), via all sales channels (particularly OEMs but also System Integrators, EPCs and Channel Partners), for Danfoss Drives products and technology. _
- _Engage with Headquarter stakeholders in engineering and procurement to promote the Danfoss brand and Danfoss products and services. _
- _Ensure Danfoss Drives are on the Approved Vendor List (AVL). Once on the AVL, work with EU stakeholders to make Danfoss Drives the preferred vendor._
- _Where a VFD specification exists, work with headquarter engineering to specify Danfoss Drive’s unique value proposition i.e., back-channel cooling, Condition based monitoring (CBM) etc._
- _If no VFD specification exists, promote the creation and benefits of a global VFD specification._
- _Build relationships at EU headquarters to understand all CAPEX investments for coming years:_
- _Map the major sales channels to the End User i.e., top 3 OEMs, SIs, EPCs etc._
- _Promote Danfoss Drive’s commitment to Environment, Sustainability & Governance._
- _Promote Danfoss Drives unique service offering._
- _Coordinate master agreements and/or global pricelists where appropriate._
- _Coordinate global activities with the sales units for the selected End Users & Consultants._
- _Share a bi-monthly report with sales community on customer activities - Customer update, New Projects, Spec. & influencing activities_

**Background & Skills**:

- _MS degree or higher in engineering, or a related field_
- _Minimum 5 years of experience in Variable Frequency Drives_
- _Minimum 5 years in the Refrigeration industry_
- _Customer/commercial leadership experience and ability to facilitate customers interactions with credibility, confidence and Think Danfoss mentality_
- _Proven track record of design or implementation of industrial refrigeration systems_
- _Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills_
