Director, Global Key Accounts Excellence Team

Requisition ID: 28195- Job Location(s): Graasten, DK Hamburg, DE Vaasa, FI Offenbach Am Main, DE Guntramsdorf, ATAt Danfoss Drives Global Sales we are currently looking for a Director, Strategic Customer Excellence Team (M/F/d) to join our Global Key Accounts team and lead technical, commercial and service processes.

In this position you are responsible for leading the enabling sub-functions of After Market Service, Technical Opportunity Management and Program Office (Commercial) and enabling the organizational efficiency, growth & continuous improvement by creating insight into strategies, opportunity pipelines, account plans at team and group level. Further, you will enable our strategic customers to grow by creating innovative solutions working closely across functions especially towards New Product Development, product customization and adaptation.

You will have the oversight of commercial due diligence including pricing and contract management, monitor and support data quality in CRM and other relevant systems and conduct monthly reporting, forecasting and quarterly follow up on customer KPIs.
You and your team will remove barriers to operational efficiency at a customer level, provide dedicated aftermarket service on customized products and increase customer loyalty with focus on quality and by driving customer requirements on our joint sustainability journey.

As a people manager you lead your team of eleven employees with 7 direct reports by example and foster a collaborative team culture with focus on developing team and individual competencies and careers. You will be part of the Global Key Accounts Leadership Team.

For this position we offer the opportunity for working from one of our European sites, preferably in Denmark, or from home office within Europe. You should expect frequent travel around 40-50% depending on your location.

**Background & Skills**:
To qualify for this position, you should hold a university degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or an equivalent educational background. You should also have at least 5-8 years of relevant work experience within Sales and or Operational Excellence in a technical Sales environment, preferably as a people leader. You have a strategic and holistic mindset and it comes natural to you to challenge status quo and to develop and improve your commercial area. As a leader, you are an active listener and a good sparring partner with a natural understanding of people development and a coaching leadership style.

Additionally, we are looking for:

- Solid knowledge of sales process, pricing, contract management, and good understanding of global commercial customer needs
- Networking skills and experience in stakeholder management while keeping customer experience in focus
- Experience and understanding within project work is beneficial
- Navigating well within global matrix organization and across cultural differences, valuing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment
- Full proficiency in English language - writing and speaking
