Head of Business Development

Then you might be our new Head of Business Development & Support for the Northern Europe Region (NER) in the Danfoss Drives Segment.

In this role you will be part of the Danfoss Drives NER Leadership Team reporting to the Head of Danfoss Drives - NER. You will direct, coordinate and support implementation of the strategic business development & support activities across our 5 main country organizations setup supervised by Sales Directors in each country. The organization has ~100 enthusiastic colleagues based across Denmark, Finland, Norway, UK & Sweden.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Direct & monitor the implementation of the strategic growth plans in NER across Countries, industries and channels
- Be the anchor point in setting up sales acceleration groups & activities
- Play an engaged key role in business reviews and supporting the Leadership teams in generating and deep diving into the various performance & KPI data points
- Direct and support the Sales leaders in the forecasting process to generate topline and profitability plans and targets
- Direct the development and adaptation of various global go-to-market channel programs for NER
- Be the go-to person for NER in coordinating and keeping the market insights data points up-to-date and aligned with global market intelligence team
- Be the business wingman/woman for NER

**Background & Skills**:
For this role we are looking for an experienced leader with good abilities for handling stakeholders at all levels and across our matrix organization. You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or other relevant field maybe combined with an Engineering or Engineering Technology education. You should also have at least 5 years’ of professional experience in Strategic Business development or from management roles.

For this role you will also need:

- Knowledge and skills required for building strategic plans and directing resources towards execution of these.
- Ability to clearly define and communicate the business strategies and get them into actions.
- To be good with numbers and highly skilled in building and communicating a story using those numbers
- To be very good at making C-suite presentation and elevator pitches
