TEMA Manufacturing is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Accountant to join our Finance Department and lead all accounting operations with excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and timely execution of all financial tasks.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all financial statements and reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage the General Ledger, ensuring compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and company policies.
  • Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost accounting, and inventory transactions.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and manage payroll-related accounting entries.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, Income Tax, Social Insurance).
  • Contribute to system enhancements, especially within SAP (preferred).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in accounting (manufacturing experience is a strong plus).
  • Leadership and team management skills are essential.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Preferably experienced with SAP or ERP systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines.
