Chief Accountant

Oversee various repeating financial operations.

Develop and implement cost accounting systems to monitor and control expenses.

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.

Ensure tax, labor law, and regulatory compliance.

Delivery of the monthly close process, analyzing transactions and preparing required journals.

Perform month-end closing activities such as account reconciliation, revenue recognition, expense recording, etc.

Work with the internal & external auditors to provide the relevant documents ensuring that all queries are accurately advised.

Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

Driving continuous improvement within the focused areas of responsibility.

Performing any other related financial duties as directed by the top management.

Bachelor s degree in Finance or a related field & having ACCA or CPA or SOCPA or a similar certificate(s) is a great plus.

7+ years of experience in accounting, including 3-5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

Having a Strong background in Costing is a must.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, etc) and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to handle complex reconciliations and financial reporting.

Practically familiar with using the top ERP systems.

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
