Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing tax compliance
    : A CAO maintains awareness and conformity with all federal, state, local, and corporate laws and policies.
  • Managing financial reports
    : A CAO issues quarterly financial reports and other documents. They assemble summary financial statements and prepare documents for annual financial review.
  • Preparing financial analyses and budgets
    : A CAO prepares financial statements and reports to help interpret a company's financial position. They also direct a monthly closing procedure and manage various accounting procedures.
  • Managing ledger and financial accounts
    : A CAO audits accounts for errors and corrects any inconsistencies. They monitor the general ledger accounting for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), other industry best practices, and company guidelines.
  • Leading long-range strategic financial planning
    : A CAO manages capital assets, including tax planning and compliance. They also develop cost control systems and evaluate current accounting practices with a mindset of improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a Must
  • SAP User is a mandatory
