Job Title:
Chief AR Accountant


Key Responsibilities:
1.
Accounts Receivable Management

  • Supervise and monitor all AR transactions, including invoicing, credit notes, and collections.
  • Review and approve sales invoices before posting to the system.
  • Ensure all customer payments are properly recorded and allocated to the correct accounts.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and coordinate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and payment terms, ensuring compliance with company policy.

2.
Reconciliation and Reporting

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of customer accounts and AR ledger.
  • Prepare periodic AR aging reports and highlight high-risk accounts.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly AR reports to management for decision-making.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process for AR-related entries.

3.
Team Leadership

  • Supervise and guide AR accountants to ensure accurate and efficient performance.
  • Review team performance, identify training needs, and support continuous improvement.

4.
Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external audit requirements.
  • Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
  • Develop and enhance AR procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

5.
Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Resolve customer account disputes in coordination with the concerned departments.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the same position.

Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry.

High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
