Drives the end-to-end development and launch of new products, ensuring they meet customer needs and support business growth. It leads cross-functional teams, manages all development phases, and secures suitable packaging solutions aligned with product and brand standards.

Essential Duties & Accountabilities

  1. Project Management:

● Lead and coordinate new product development projects across skincare, haircare, and personal care categories.

● Define project timelines, manage key milestones, and ensure on-time product launches.

● Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to track progress and address challenges.

  1. Product Development & Innovation:

● Work closely with R&D to develop product briefs and formulations based on market trends and consumer insights initiated by client through sample request.

  1. Packaging Development:

● Source, evaluate, and select suitable packaging options that align with product concept and branding.

● Coordinate with local and international packaging suppliers to ensure timely sample delivery and technical specifications.

● Approve packaging prototypes and oversee compatibility and stability testing.

  1. Costing & Pricing Support:

● Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams to obtain and validate product cost structures.

  1. Supplier & Vendor Coordination:

● Build and maintain relationships with packaging and raw material suppliers.

● Follow up on sample requests, component availability, and lead times.

  1. Documentation & Reporting:

● Maintain up-to-date reports for all launched & approved products

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

● Liaise with Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, supply chain and Operations to ensure readiness for product launch.

● Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to support brand growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in Lead Generation and developing customer relationships
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt
  • Experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry is a plus
  • Proven track record in business development and new product management
