You will be working as Sales Support Engineer and will be the part of Motion Business Area for Service Division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Service Sales Specialist and will be responsible to provide best in class technical and commercial support to the service sales organization in EG and allocated market and be the technical domain expertise and go-to person for internal and external customers. Select and identify the best fit and cost-efficient service solutions to meet customer requirements. Prepare in full coordination with the sales team value-based offerings to ensure ABB is well positioned to win matching customer needs.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Independent product selection and knowhow of complete service offering portfolio, be go-to person for service sales for technically complex cases and larger projects where product management expertise is required, push ABB Ability digital portfolio as a key strategic direction as part of offering.
- Support sales in defining suitable and customize service contract portfolio offerings through
- VAS (value aded services), replacements, advance services, Spares parts & digiatl offerings. Preparation of marketing material for digital offerings, advance services and value proposition to promote service offerings and ensure complete and timely quotes. Average response time for offers shall not exceed 2 days, independent product selection using Motion Service tools.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers for standard products/ spares and support customer discussions in coordination with the sales team to secure business opportunities, ensure on professional template, implement a consistent offering touch and feel to the customer motion service as a whole. Prepare/support preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Divison/feeder factory indications and Sales organization directives.
- Analyze customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by the Sales organization, performs lost proposal analysis, identify potential cause, and recommend future actions in cooperation with Sales/divison managment to obtain better future results, preparation of spare part offers using ABB tools/ factory support, update databases
- (Customer, Supplier, Risk Review, ABB install base tools) and provide information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometime participate in the risk review assessment.
- Co-ordinate with service sales team to ensure ontime order booking, time sheet entry and revenues, co-ordinate with Service partners for training, price list, offers and orders in full alignemnt with sales team and division strategy and participate in conferences, workshops, lunch and learn sessions and conduct training sessions for customers and key stakeholders when applicable in full alignemnt with sales team and division strategy. Support order handlers and project managers in execution where applicable, provide support for receivables collection in coordination with sales and operation teams, high amount of accuracy and speed are needed to ensure ontime offering with zero errors, high availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer request such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, failures and related immediate support requests.
- Professional update for SFDC and sales tools to ensure propeor sales pipeline management, proper documentation for orders and contracts to ensure professional hand over to operations, contribute to sales winning strategy with best in class sales and technical support, prepare FCM and costing sheets in full alignment with sales, operations, SCM and controlling, work closely with sales in formulate strategies, strong collaboration with all business functions like SCM, Controlling HSE and operations, proactive approach to improve the process and performance, support in identify new sales opportunities, set winning strategies, pricing, margins according to Division and Business Area Strategy.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering or Mechatronics.
- 2 years of experience.
- Experience in a similar role is required, drives or motors industry.
- Excellent command of English & Arabic language.
