Job Title: Administrative Officer
Department: HR & Admin
Reporting to: HR & Administration Manager
Job Main Scope:
The role of the Administration Officer is to efficiently manage administrative tasks and oversee the company's diverse insurance portfolio. This position combines administrative support across all departments with responsibility for medical health insurance, and general insurance policies like property insurance, all risk insurance, etc. The Administration Officer will work remotely and must have strong organizational and communication skills, in-depth knowledge of insurance practices and requirements, and the ability to work independently while collaborating virtually with various departments.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous work experience in the UAE is essential, with a deep understanding of the local business environment, culture, and regulatory landscape.
- 5 to 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in administration or 3 years in corporate insurance management. Experience in a remote or hybrid work environment is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Experience with project management tools and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong knowledge of virtual collaboration tools and cloud-based file sharing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making with minimal supervision.
- In-depth knowledge of various insurance types, including health, property, liability, and specialty lines.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles, particularly in technology-related fields.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex insurance policies and financial data.
- Superior negotiation skills for dealing with insurance providers and brokers virtually.
- Professional insurance certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CRM) highly desirable.
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to business operations, labor, and insurance in the UAE.
