**Job Description** Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead with a strong background in SaaS, consultation, and the finance or accounting industry to oversee and mentor a high-performing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, overseeing team performance, and fostering growth while developing long-lasting relationships with clients. You will play a key role in developing strategies to accelerate revenue growth and expand Mazeed's presence in the market.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of sales professionals to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to generate new business and expand existing accounts.
- Utilize your expertise in SaaS and finance/accounting sectors to advise prospects and clients on the best solutions for their business needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
- Develop a strong understanding of Mazeed’s solutions and effectively communicate their value to potential clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and campaigns.
- Track and report on sales performance, KPIs, and key metrics to senior management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers within target accounts.
- Assist with the onboarding and training of new sales team members, ensuring they are equipped to succeed.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitors, and best practices to continuously refine sales tactics and strategies.
- Provide insightful feedback and recommendations for product and service improvements based on customer interactions.
**Qualifications** Requirements**:
- ** Experience**: 5-8 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or team management role. Experience in a SaaS company and a background in consultation, accounting, or finance is a must.
- ** Industry Knowledge**: A solid understanding of the SaaS industry, particularly in the accounting and finance sectors. Experience in financial solutions and how they align with business goals is essential.
- ** Skills**: Strong leadership and team management abilities with a track record of driving sales success. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to drive sales strategies.
- ** Sales Acumen**: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, develop strategic plans, and close complex sales deals.
- ** Education**: A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in sales methodologies, SaaS, or finance is a plus.
- ** Technology Proficiency**: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), sales automation tools, and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
