Unique and profitable business model

**Retention Team Lead**

As a Retention Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving Merchant retention initiatives. You will play a crucial role in managing and improving Merchant relationships, reducing churn, and maximizing Merchant daily orders. The Retention Team Lead will collaborate with various departments to develop and execute retention strategies that align with the Taager's goals and objectives. The Retention Team is one of the most important departments in Taager, as a department it is meant to increase the number of active Merchants in the Gulf region, decrease the churn rate, and ensure overall high-quality service that fits with Taager's standards. The Retention Team will work with other departments, it's meant to increase the technical level of our Merchants while helping them navigate the tough road to becoming successful and profitable merchants.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and account management to develop comprehensive retention strategies.
- You will analyze Merchant data and market trends to identify opportunities and insights that inform retention initiatives.
- You will develop and implement retention campaigns, programs, and initiatives to reduce churn and increase Merchant loyalty.
- You will proactively address Merchant concerns and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- You will monitor Merchant satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to improve overall Merchant experience.
- You will generate regular reports on Merchant performance, highlighting trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- You will utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of retention initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- You will call inactive Merchants to re-activate them.
- You will manage re-activated Merchants until they are handed over to the Account Management team.
- You will solve Merchants’ problems through communicating with different stakeholders throughout the company.
- You will plan for and with Merchants on how to reach company targets.
- You will prepare daily reports with actions taken with each Merchant, as well as gathering Merchants’ feedback.

**What Will Make You Successful**

**Must have**:

- You will have e-commerce or drop shipping experience,
- You will have experience in a leadership role.
- You will have previous sales experience.
- You will have a basic understanding of Excel.
- You will have conversational English skills.

**Nice to have**:

- Basic media buying knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of advertising platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat etc..).
- Previous Startup experience.
