In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance our commercial capabilities (across both CDT & Sales), to drive revenue growth and ensure the organization remains competitive in the market, across MENA.
Understanding the needs of the clusters and categories now and what will be needed to ensure we are fit for the future, providing solutions to fill those need gaps identified.
**A DAY IN THE LIFE **
- Develop and Drive the Commercial Capabilities Strategy:
- Develop the 3-year strategy for the commercial function in-line with the region needs (MBS) to ensure we are fit for the future as an organization
- Communicate the plan effectively to key stakeholders centrally to align and drive visibility of the strategy for the commercial function
- Identify the key capabilities required for success, assessing current capabilities, and creating a roadmap for developing and enhancing those capabilities.
- Ensure we are looking to the future, championing new ways of working and solutions to further the effectiveness of capabilities in the organization
- Create personalized training & learning plans:
- Developing and implementing the learning strategies and plans to build competencies for CDT & sales employees across the region, to enable a high performing organization
- Identifying training needs, selecting appropriate training methods and resources, and coordinating the delivery of training programs
- Distributor Management:
- Develop & sustain a Distributor Sales Academy to upskill not only Nestlé employees but also those in our distributors, providing a clear framework and guidance for all clusters to follow
- Ensure that we are clear on the skills and knowledge gaps to be successful in the roles and continually develop the offerings on both hard & soft skills
- Develop and lead the evolution of new RTM needs e.g., Digital and Pharma
- Evaluation & Measurement:
- Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of capability development initiatives, including collecting and analysing data, measuring the progress of capability development efforts, and making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
- Team Management & action plan
- Lead & develop the commercial capabilities team to deliver best in class solutions at cluster level through the Nestle performance evaluation process
- Run the PDG cycle for NME facilitators to ensure the right development plan as per career aspiration
- Recommend the right level of investment, optimizing spend levels and delivering training objectives within budgets
**What will make you successful**
- +5 years successful experience in Sales / CDT with time in a role leading other.
- FMCG background is a must.
- Distributor experience is a plus.
- Experience across multiple Sales channels.
- Project Management & change management experience
- Above market or multi market experience is a benefit
