JOB SUMMARY

The role supports in coordinating all property events smoothly from sales to operations and back to sales. Focuses on meeting customer needs, enhancing employee satisfaction, increasing event revenues, and optimizing the department's financial performance. Contributes to developing and implementing property-wide strategies to exceed customer and employee expectations while ensuring a positive return on investment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field.
- OR
- 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field; 1 year of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related field.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Assisting in Managing Event Management Operations and Budgets

  • Researches and assesses competitors' products, prices, and services.
  • Reviews upcoming events and resolves potential issues.
  • Ensures awareness of all groups impacting property operations.
  • Collaborates with the culinary team to maintain food safety standards.
  • Oversees Event Operations including Banquets, Event Services, and Event Technology.
  • Supervises event planning team and ensures clean and well-maintained event spaces and equipment.
  • Executes brand service initiatives in event management areas.

Managing Profitability

- Proposes strategies to stay competitive.

- Promotes revenue growth and exceptional guest service through calculated risks.

- Builds relationships with external vendors to enhance event experiences and increase revenue opportunities.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

- Creates an atmosphere exceeding guest expectations.

- Collaborates with clients to understand event objectives and requirements.
