Job Title : Mechanical Technical Office Engineer

Location : Cairo, Egypt

Responsibilities


• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using CAD software.


• Create bills of materials (BOM), technical submittals, and shop drawings.


• Review and verify compliance of designs with project requirements, codes, and standards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, civil, and structural) to integrate mechanical designs.


• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to address technical issues.


• Attend technical meetings to resolve project-related concerns.


• Review and approve mechanical materials and equipment submittals.


• Ensure that all mechanical installations align with project specifications and quality standards.


• Conduct inspections and provide technical recommendations for corrective actions.


• Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and execution phases.


• Assist in preparing project schedules, cost estimates, and resource plans for mechanical works.


• Track project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions.


• Stay updated on industry developments, standards, and technologies.


• Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).


• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering for optimal system performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • Specialized in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Engineering
  • Knowledge in MEP. Qs.
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in engineering software as following;

  • Mechanical engineer: Autocad , Revit , Naviswork


• 3 to 5 years of experience in the field
