Role Description

  • Prepare, review, and update mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting).

  • Ensure compliance of drawings with project specifications, standards, and codes.

  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Prepare material submittals and follow up with consultants for approvals.

  • Conduct precise quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

  • Prepare and review interim payment applications, client invoices, and subcontractor invoices.

  • Track variations, change orders, and update project cost records accordingly.

  • Support project managers and site teams with technical and commercial documentation.

  • Ensure proper filing, documentation, and reporting of all technical office activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical technical office engineering.
  • 4–6 years of experience in a technical office role in the construction industry (contracting or consulting firm).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems in buildings.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction standards, codes, and mechanical systems.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Cairo Residence is preferable.
