Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer
located in Cairo. The Senior Mechanical Technical Office Engineer manages all technical aspects of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting) on construction projects. Responsibilities include preparing shop and as-built drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, reviewing submittals, ensuring code compliance, solving technical issues, and preparing reports and documentation. The role also involves providing technical support to project teams and ensuring that all mechanical works meet quality, safety, and project specifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience
    in the
    MEP contracting or construction field
  • Expertise in
    HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
    design and execution
  • Proficiency in
    preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals
  • Strong knowledge of
    MEP coordination, project specifications, and codes
  • Excellent
    analytical and problem-solving skills
    with high attention to detail
  • Ability to
    review designs, identify discrepancies, and propose effective solutions
  • Ability to
    work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
