Job Overview

Cypod Solutions is a fast-paced company looking for a Software Team Leader to step in and lead a diverse software engineering team. The role is a mix of hands-on development, technical leadership, and cross-team collaboration with stakeholders and clients.

You'll be responsible for guiding a team of developers while staying actively involved in coding, architecture decisions, and system operations.

This position requires someone comfortable with wearing multiple hats — balancing people management, backend development, DevOps, debugging, and direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices (SOLID, clean code, system design).
  • Distribute and prioritize tasks across the team based on sprint goals and business priorities.
  • Mentor juniors and guide the senior/mid-level team members where needed.
  • Represent the tech team in stakeholder and client meetings, discussing requirements, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.

Technical Decision-Making

  • Drive architectural and system design decisions.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of services.
  • Balance speed of delivery with technical debt and long-term maintainability.

Hands-on Development & Problem Solving

  • Contribute to backend development (Python, , Go).
  • Debug and resolve complex bugs across backend, DevOps, and network layers.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.

DevOps & Deployments

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines (Docker, pipelines, testing, SonarQube).
  • Handle deployments, monitoring, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
  • Ensure stable communication between services (Redis, RabbitMQ, MQTT).
  • Debug and optimize networking issues across VMs (subnets, SSH, communication layers).

Requirements, Tech Stack & Tools

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Years of Experience:
    Minimum 5 Years
  • Language:
    Advanced English is required.
  • Tech Languages:
    Python, , Golang, , React Native — nice to have but not mandatory).
  • Frameworks:
    Flask, Django, Express.
  • Databases:
    MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, InfluxDB.
  • Messaging & Caching:
    Redis, RabbitMQ, MQTT.
  • DevOps & CI/CD:
    Docker (Compose), pipeline writing, testing frameworks, SonarQube, Linux.
  • Monitoring & Metrics (optional):
    Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
  • Concepts:
    SOLID, system design, caching strategies, network layer, and communication.
  • Good knowledge of working with Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar applications.
