EgyBell is hiring Accounting Team Leader for a leading insurance company

Location: Mohandessin - Giza

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, month/year-end closings, and budgeting.

Review and verify financial data and ensure timely preparation of trial balance and financial statements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Coordinate with government authorities (Tax, Labor, Social Insurance).

Lead financial analysis and reporting for top management.

Supervise and support the accounting team through training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely delivery of reports.

Propose improvements for processes, resource optimization, and staff development.

Anticipate financial risks and set corrective action plans.

Qualifications :

Bachelor degree in Accounting

MBA is preferred

8+ years of experience in the Accounting field

Very good English.

Knowledge and proficiency in Egyptian Accounting Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Accounting Standards and Statements of Auditing Standards (SAS).

International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).

Ability to understand financial reports.

Ability to analyze, evaluate and reconcile financial data to arrive to accurate conclusions and recommendations

Quantitative skills

Excellent computer skills

Analytical skills and attention to details

Conflict management and problem-solving skills

Negotiation skills and ability to persuade using tact and political sense
