  • Ensuring good management of daily accounting operations, the monthly and yearly closings and reports, and the budget process.
  • Ensuring the finalization of the transactions closure, the preparation of the trial balance, and the financial statements on due time.
  • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of financial data and information.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the accounting and financial projects.
  • Planning and implementing for the company's resources optimization.
  • Prepare annual budget in coordination with other related departments.
  • Ensuring the delivery on due time of all requested reports to Egyptian authorities or Company's Management.
  • Liaison with the government authorities (i.e. Labor, Tax, and Social Insurance offices) through assigned tax advisor.
  • Implementing Financial Analysis.
  • Creating and following the SLA agreements.
  • Assuring that all the accounting tasks are complying with the set quality indicators and priorities.
  • Emphasizing that the procedures, rules and regulations must be known and applied by the staff.
  • Ensuring Permanent Supervision is performed in due time and actions are taken if any problems detected.
  • Setting controls and performance indicators.
  • Coordinating with external auditors on annual reviews.
  • Assessing and developing on a regular basis the technical, managerial and communication skills of his/her team through training and coaching.
  • Keeping a good communication level with other departments and networks.
  • Reinforcing team spirit between team members.
  • Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.
  • Advising Top Management on desirable operational adjustments.
  • Reviewing and analyzing the accounting department procedures and processes for improvements proposals.
  • Proposing new methods to enhance the staff performance and skills and formalizing the department's training plan to improve the staff skills.
  • Anticipating any crisis situation and setting action plan with corrective actions to be taken to remedy it.
