Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant - Background Construction, based in Heliopolis. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage financial operations related to construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective budget management. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing project budgets, processing payroll, coordinating with project managers, and maintaining compliance with local financial regulations. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with accounting practices specific to the construction industry.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, account reconciliation, and general accounting principles.
  • Strong expertise in construction project accounting, including budget management, cost analysis, and revenue recognition.
  • Experience with managing payroll, processing invoices, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in accounting, especially within the construction sector.
  • Advanced skills in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Previous accounting experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
