About Us:

We are an established accounting and auditing firm with over 30+ years of experience, providing professional financial and tax services across Egypt. We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team and lead our tax compliance and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with Egyptian tax laws (income tax, VAT, payroll tax, withholding tax, stamp tax).
  • Support senior and chartered accountants in reviewing clients' financial data and identifying tax optimization opportunities.
  • Help maintain compliance with Egyptian tax regulations and monitor relevant legislative updates.
  • Participate in preparing tax documentation, schedules, and working papers for clients and internal reviews.
  • Communicate with the Egyptian Tax Authority under supervision to resolve or follow up on client matters.
  • Learn and apply advanced tax knowledge through ongoing guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in tax accounting or auditing in Egypt.
  • Registered member or in the process of registration with the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors (preferred / strong advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of Egyptian tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop under the supervision of senior or chartered accountants.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
