Job Description

GAT Tours is seeking a skilled
Financial Accountant
to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, managing client and supplier accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Accounting Major preferred)

Experience:
3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and record
    daily journal entries
    .
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts
    of customers and suppliers.
  • Handle
    tax accounting
    , including preparation of invoices and
    monthly tax returns
    .
  • Prepare
    financial statements and closing accounts
    at the end of each period.
  • Utilize
    Microsoft Excel
    effectively for data management and reporting.
  • Work efficiently with
    accounting software systems
    .

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in financial accounting.
  • Solid understanding of
    tax laws
    and
    financial reporting standards
    .
  • Excellent proficiency in
    Excel
    and
    accounting software
    .
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
