Financial Manager

Key Responsibilities – Financial Manager

• Lead all financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning & analysis, cost control, and cash flow supervision.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.
• Manage project-based finance operations, including cost allocation, profitability analysis, and tracking financial performance across multiple active construction projects.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Monitor project expenses, including material, equipment, subcontractor, and labor costs, ensuring alignment with budgeted estimates and company financial targets.
• Support tendering, bidding, contract evaluation, and pricing strategy by providing financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Lead financial risk management activities and ensure alignment with contract terms, commercial conditions, and relevant legislation.
• Direct financing activities, including banking relationships, facilities management, guarantees, letters of credit, and working capital optimization.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, board of directors, investors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate tax planning and compliance, including submission of required reports and coordination with external auditors and government authorities.
• Implement and improve financial systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent) to enhance financial reporting and operational control.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to support business decisions.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, driving professional development and high performance.
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial growth initiatives, including investments, cost optimization, and process improvement.
• Support due diligence and financial evaluation for joint ventures, acquisitions, or partnership opportunities.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience
  in financial management.
• Strong experience in budgeting, project accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Proven leadership ability managing finance teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar) is preferred.
