We're Hiring | Foreign Purchasing Specialist

Location: Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt

Employment Type: Full-time | On-site

At Unival Piping System Solutions, we're proud to be one of the region's leading providers of piping systems, valves, and fittings for industrial, construction, and infrastructure projects.

We're looking for a Foreign Purchasing Specialist to join us and manage international sourcing and procurement operations efficiently and effectively.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and qualify international suppliers across global markets.

  • Request and review RFQs to ensure best pricing and quality.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Issue and follow up on international Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Coordinate with logistics on shipping methods, customs documents, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation (Invoice – Packing List – Certificate of Origin – BL/AWB).
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve any delays or customs issues.
  • Collaborate with finance, warehousing, and operations teams.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports.

  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in international procurement or sourcing.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Solid knowledge of INCOTERMS, international shipping, and customs processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing with Asian, European, or Middle Eastern suppliers.

  • Strong follow-up and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
