Job Description

The EdTech Business Development Lead will drive the commercial growth of San3a Academy by expanding market reach, building strategic partnerships, and managing the full sales pipeline. The role collaborates with internal teams to adapt products for commercial use, integrate paid opportunities into programs, and supports marketing and admissions efforts that boost enrolments. With strong relationship-building skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, the Lead will help position San3a Academy as a key provider of accessible, high-quality tech education.

A. Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute a commercial and partnership strategy aligned with San3a Academy's mission and annual goals.

Identify and segment target markets (B2C, B2B, B2B2C).

Lead pricing, packaging, and offer design for commercial products.

Contribute to annual strategic and financial planning processes.

B. Sales & Partnerships

Manage the entire commercial pipeline from lead generation to deal closure.

Cultivate relationships with schools, employers, universities, and institutions.

Negotiate and secure partnerships and contracts for paid or hybrid programs.

Maintain CRM systems and produce regular pipeline reports.

C. Product & Portfolio Management

Collaborate with Education to adapt existing content for commercial use.

Coordinate with Programs to integrate paid seats into funded initiatives.

Gather market feedback to refine program offerings and positioning.

D. Coordination & Cross-Team Alignment

Work with EOS on admissions and learner data tracking.

Collaborate with Marketing to run campaigns and events that drive enrolments.

Liaise with Finance for pricing, contracts, and receivables.

E. Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly reports on revenue, sales pipeline, and partnership activities.

Track KPIs related to revenue, client satisfaction, and conversion rates.

Provide input to leadership on trends, risks, and emerging opportunities.

Requirements

Essential

  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in education, training, or social enterprise).
  • Understanding of B2C and B2B sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Arabic and English).
  • Analytical thinking — ability to interpret data and adjust strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, outcome-driven.

Preferred

  • Experience in blended learning, EdTech, or youth employability programs.
  • Familiarity with grant or CSR-funded initiatives.
  • CRM and data reporting proficiency (HubSpot, Airtable, or similar).
