We are hiring a Senior Operations Officer | Cairo (New Nozha)

As a Senior Operations professional, you'll oversee end-to-end freight forwarding activities — ensuring the smooth, timely, and cost-effective movement of shipments. You'll coordinate closely with agents, partners, and clients to deliver high-quality service, resolve operational challenges, and contribute to continuous process improvement within the logistics and freight department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily import and export freight operations across air and sea shipments.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (sales teams, agents, and clients) to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Oversee documentation, pricing, and shipment releases with full compliance.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve operational issues proactively.
  • Maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with shipping lines and logistics partners for rate negotiations and execution.
  • Support continuous process improvements within the operations department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
  • Solid understanding of import/export processes (air & sea freight).
  • Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office (knowledge of IST system is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
