Job Title: Electrical BIM Draftsman

Location: Cairo, Egypt (Projects based in UAE – requiring knowledge of UAE regulations and standards)

Responsibilities:


• Prepare detailed electrical drawings and layouts using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with UAE regulations and international standards.


• Develop and update BIM models for electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, and low current systems.


• Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical) to ensure accurate integration of electrical components within the BIM environment.

What We're Looking For:


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, with at least 2 years using Revit in a consultant office environment.


• Strong proficiency in Revit (Electrical) and AutoCAD is essential.


• Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and convert them into accurate BIM models.


• Experience in drafting for lighting, power, fire alarm, and low current systems.


• Good coordination skills to work with other disciplines in a BIM environment.


• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality drawings.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Holding a degree in Electrical Engineering or a diploma in electrical technology is considered a major advantage.
