Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Electrical BIM Engineer
with 5–9 years of experience in BIM-based electrical design, coordination, and modeling. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading electrical BIM activities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring model accuracy, clash resolution, and compliance with project standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and coordination of
    electrical BIM models
    (LV, MV, Lighting, Power, ELV, Fire Alarm, Data, CCTV, BMS).
  • Prepare and manage
    LOD 300–500 models
    for different project phases.
  • Coordinate with
    MEP, Structural, and Architectural teams
    to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
  • Conduct regular
    clash detection workshops
    using Navisworks / BIM Collab / similar tools.
  • Ensure compliance with
    international standards and local electrical codes
    .
  • Review and validate models created by junior BIM engineers.
  • Prepare
    shop drawings, as-built drawings, and quantity take-offs
    .
  • Support Project Managers & Site Engineers with BIM deliverables and technical inputs.
  • Assist in developing
    BIM standards, templates, and workflows
    .
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide technical leadership.
  • Monitor BIM timeline deliverables and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    .
  • 5–9 years of experience as Electrical BIM Engineer or similar role.
  • Professional expertise in:
  • Autodesk Revit (Electrical / MEP)
  • Navisworks Manage for clash detection
  • AutoCAD
  • BIM 360 / ACC platforms
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Electrical systems design & coordination
  • Cable tray & containment systems
  • Lighting design layouts
  • Power distribution systems
  • ELV & Low Current systems
  • Ability to prepare
    BIM Execution Plans (BEP)
    .
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor junior engineers.
  • Experience in large-scale projects (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Hospitals is a plus).

Preferred Certifications

  • Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit)
  • BIM Professional Certification (if available)
  • Knowledge in Dynamo / Python for automation is a plus
