Job Description:

  • Develop and update
    electrical BIM models
    and
    shop drawings
    for building projects, covering systems such as power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and grounding, in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Prepare
    detailed, accurate, and coordinated electrical shop drawings
    using
    Autodesk Revit
    and
    AutoCAD
    , ensuring they reflect design intent and site conditions.
  • Conduct
    clash detection and coordination
    with other disciplines (architectural, structural, and MEP) using tools such as
    Navisworks
    , resolving design conflicts before construction.
  • Implement and follow the approved
    BIM Execution Plan (BEP)
    , maintaining compliance with
    LOD requirements
    and company drafting standards.
  • Review consultant comments and
    revise shop drawings/models
    accordingly, ensuring timely resubmission and approval.
  • Coordinate closely with
    site engineers, design teams, and project managers
    to ensure all drawings align with actual construction requirements.
  • Generate
    as-built drawings and updated BIM models
    , incorporating all field changes for final documentation and handover.
  • Support
    material take-offs (MTO)
    and
    quantity extractions
    directly from BIM models to assist procurement and installation planning.
  • Maintain proper
    documentation, version control, and file organization
    for all BIM models and drawings.
  • Assist in preparing
    testing, commissioning, and handover documentation
    , ensuring all electrical as-built data is complete and accurate.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
    .
  • 1 to 4 years of experience
    in
    electrical BIM modeling and shop drawing preparation
    within MEP or building services projects.
  • Proficiency in
    Autodesk Revit
    ,
    AutoCAD
    , and
    Navisworks Manage
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    electrical systems
    (power, lighting, ELV, grounding, fire alarm, etc.) and related materials.
  • Familiarity with
    local authority regulations
    ,
    project specifications
    , and
    electrical codes
    .
  • Basic knowledge of
    BIM coordination workflows
    ,
    LOD standards
    , and
    BEP implementation
    .
  • Proficient in
    MS Office (Word, Excel)
    for documentation and reporting.
  • Experience with
    ERP systems
    (preferably
    SAP
    ) is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver accurate work within project timelines.
