Dealing Room Manager – Gold Trading

We are seeking an experienced Dealing Room Manager to lead our gold trading operations. The role involves overseeing the dealing room activities, monitoring global and regional gold market trends — particularly within the Gulf region — and managing a team of dealers to ensure efficient and profitable trading decisions aligned with the company's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the dealing room team responsible for monitoring and executing gold trading activities.
  • Follow up on international and Gulf region gold prices, spot and futures markets, and analyze fluctuations.
  • Monitor global bullion market movements, currency exchange trends, and macroeconomic factors affecting gold prices.
  • Coordinate with senior management to provide daily and weekly market summaries, forecasts, and trading recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of buying/selling transactions.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory and internal trading policies.
  • Manage and develop team members, ensuring high performance and adherence to operational standards.
  • Work closely with the finance and risk teams to manage exposure and hedge price risks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree/MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in trading or dealing room operations, preferably in the precious metals or commodities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of global gold markets, especially in the Gulf region.
  • Excellent understanding of financial instruments, hedging, and market analysis tools.
  • Proven experience in managing teams and trading operations under pressure.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
