What You'll Do

Financial Reporting, Control & Compliance

  • Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure process integrity.
  • Act as the key liaison for external auditors, managing the audit process efficiently.
  • Oversee technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition for long-term projects and intercompany transactions.

Financial Planning, Analysis & Business Partnership

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with business leaders to build actionable financial plans.
  • Deliver insightful variance analyses and financial insights that drive performance improvement.
  • Partner with operations and commercial teams to evaluate project profitability, new product feasibility, and strategic initiatives.

Tax, Treasury & Operational Leadership

  • Oversee group tax compliance and planning, ensuring timely submissions and optimizing tax efficiency.
  • Manage the fixed asset register and corporate insurance programs.
  • Enhance cash flow forecasting and treasury collaboration.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–6 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a Big 4 or leading audit firm.
  • Proven experience with multi-entity consolidations under IFRS.
  • Strong FP&A background — budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of Egyptian corporate tax and VAT regulations.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
  • A hands-on, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, turnaround-focused environment.
