Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced
Financial Controller
to oversee finance activities for our
Utilities Management Sector.
The role focuses on financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, and supporting day-to-day operational decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial control operations across power & water distribution networks and O&M services.
  • Oversee
    budgeting, forecasting, reporting
    , and ensure alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Implement and enhance
    internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks
    .
  • Monitor cost structures, operational KPIs, and profitability metrics related to utility operations.
  • Coordinate closely with technical, operations, procurement, and audit teams to support strategic decision-making.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
    CPA, CMA, or MBA
    is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive financial experience
    , with
    at least 5 years in Utilities, Power Distribution, Water Distribution, or Operations & Maintenance
    .
  • Strong background in
    project-based accounting
    , cost control, and financial oversight for technical/operations environments.
  • Solid knowledge of
    revenue cycles, consumption models, billing processes, and regulatory frameworks
    related to electricity and water distribution.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain
    financial control frameworks
    , policies, and compliance procedures.
  • Expertise in
    budgeting, forecasting, financial planning
    , and monitoring performance KPIs for field operations and network activities.
  • Strong experience in
    cash flow management
    , cost optimization, and investment analysis.
  • Familiarity with Oracle systems and advanced Excel financial modeling.
  • Successful track record in
    managing internal & external audits
    , compliance requirements, and reporting obligations.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising and developing finance teams.
