Overview: The primary responsibilities of a Financial Reporting Team Lead include gathering and consolidating financial data, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, and analyzing financial results & ensure that all financial reports are accurate, complete, and comply with accounting standards and legal regulations.

Moreover, he/she may be tasked with improving reporting procedures to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems and processes.


• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed.


• Participate in special projects, such as system implementations, process improvements, and ad-hoc analyses as needed


• Ensure that the general ledger accounts are properly updated and reconciled


• Support in monthly closing activities and ensure financial books are accurate


• Monitor financial reporting requirements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for significant changes in financials


• Prepare presentations for stakeholders and management.


• Identify risks and opportunities related to financial reporting and recommend improvements.


• Monitor costs and expenses to identify variances and trends.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.


• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement


• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to define reporting requirements, gather data, and design innovative reporting solutions


• Provide guidance and training to junior reporting specialists and other team members on best practices for data analysis and reporting

Qualifications:


•Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or relevant field Experience / Skills:


•3+ years of experience in accounting or related roles.


•Proficient command of English language.


•Strong analytical and communication skills.


•Proficiency in MS Office suite.


•Proficiency in ERP system
