About The Role

The Financial Controller will be responsible for establishing financial objectives, policies, and programs that ensure the company's sound financial position. This critical role involves financial analysis, planning, investment decisions, and managing the company's financial resources including working capital and cash flows.

Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage the company's cash flow and establish credit, collection, and purchasing policies
  • Maintain all financial documentation and prepare comprehensive financial reports (monthly KPIs and activity reports)
  • Supervise accounts managers in collection and credit management
  • Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with professional accounting standards

Working Capital Management

  • Optimize cash management efficiency through effective debt collection and payment terms
  • Analyze credit terms and duration, providing recommendations aligned with company objectives
  • Analyze optimal inventory levels in coordination with Planning and Purchasing departments

Budgeting & Performance Evaluation

  • Assist in preparing the company's annual budget based on projections from all departments
  • Monitor budget implementation and identify variances and their causes
  • Contribute to developing performance evaluation metrics aligned with company vision

Accounting Systems & Controls

  • Implement and maintain accounting systems, records, and chart of accounts in compliance with accounting standards
  • Ensure effective internal controls over revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to maintain robust control systems

Pricing & Cost Analysis

  • Calculate target selling prices using cost data and ROI analysis
  • Prepare cost standards and analyze variances from benchmarks
  • Provide monthly analytical reports on financial position and profitability by business unit

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 10+ years of experience
    in financial management
