Job Summary

The Financial Manager oversees all financial operations, including planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting, to ensure the company's financial stability and compliance. The role supports management in strategic decisions and maintains effective cost control, cash flow, and project-based accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor financial ERP system, financial documentation, workflow , budgets, and forecasts aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Provide financial analysis and performance review to support management decisions and improve profitability.
  • Supervise and control accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger operations.
  • Manage cash flow, project payments, and collection cycles to ensure liquidity and funding availability.
  • Conduct financial analysis on ongoing projects to identify risks, deviations, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with project managers and procurement to validate budgets and control expenditures.
  • Support and assist cost control section to track financial performance per project.
  • Manage all aspects of tax planning and compliance in line with current regulations.
  • Manage communication with auditors and tax authorities to guarantee accurate filings and full regulatory compliance.
  • Manage bank relationships, facilities, guarantees, and project financing.
  • Ensure timely
    client collection
    and proper allocation of received payments.
  • Supervise and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (Master's degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction or contracting field.
  • Strong command of financial reporting standards and Egyptian tax laws
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Odoo is a +Plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
