Requirements:

  • Experience: 10-12 years.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Financial Manager.

  • Preferably experience in the export industry.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

§ 
Financial Reporting

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheets, income statements) are prepared in compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Review reports with senior management for decision-making.

§ 
Budgeting and Forecasting

Develop and manage the annual budget; provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare financial forecasts to assist in strategic planning.

§ 
Accountant (AP / AR / GL)

  • Oversee and manage the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

  • Monitor cash flow and ensure liquidity.

§ 
General Ledger Management

Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, including all accounts and journal entries.

Perform month-end close activities.

§ 
treasury Management

Supervise the treasury operations, maintaining optimal cash levels and banking relationships.

Manage risks associated with currency fluctuations and implement hedging strategies.

§ 
Cost Accounting

Monitor and analyze cost allocations, ensuring accuracy in pricing and cost control measures.

Work with cost analysts to optimize costs and enhance profitability.

§ 
Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing requirements.

Compliance and Controls

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and auditing standards.

Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Strategic Decision Support

Collaborate with management to provide financial insights for strategic decisions like expansions, cost-cutting measures, and investment opportunities.

Stakeholder Management

Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
