Accounting Manager
for one of our clients in the
Real Estate Development
Sector located in Moqattam, Egypt.

Role Description

  • Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and submit them to the Financial Manager for review and consolidation.
  • Manage and monitor project accounting, including cost allocation, revenue recognition, and work-in-progress tracking (especially for real estate or project-based businesses).
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and government regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
  • From 8 to 12 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in
    Real Estate Development
    Companies (
    MUST
    ).
  • Proven experience in project accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting for multi-phase developments.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), taxation laws, and financial compliance.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Moqattam or nearby residences are preferred.
